Ms. Andrea O. De Jesus, a BS Civil Engineering graduate with advanced units toward a Master’s degree in Engineering Management (2019), brings specialized expertise in Intellectual Property (IP) Management. Her qualifications are complemented by a series of international IP trainings and distance learning courses completed from 2020 to 2022, which equipped her with a strong understanding of global IP frameworks and practices. In 2021, she furthered her knowledge with in-depth IP study courses in Osaka, Japan, refining her skills in IP protection and enforcement.

As a technology business incubation officer-in-charge, Ms. De Jesus has focused on the critical aspects of IP commercialization. In 2023, she completed a Freedom to Operate Search, a commercialization seminar organized by the Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines (IPOPHL) designed to assess IP viability and support the successful market entry of new technologies. Additionally, her 2023 training on IP valuation and management has further strengthened her ability to appraise and manage IP assets, aligning them with business goals.
