Dr. John Ryan C. Dizon is a Professor VI at Bataan Peninsula State University (BPSU), where he serves as the Director for the Technology Entrepreneurship and Transfer Office and Manager to the DR3AM Center. As a Professional Industrial Engineer and Professor of Mechanical Engineering, he specializes in advanced materials characterization and 3D printing applications, with a research portfolio spanning nearly 100 scientific publications focusing on advanced materials, advanced manufacturing, characterization, and simulation. Several of his innovations are registered with the Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines.

Previously a Visiting Scholar at Case Western Reserve University in Ohio, USA, Dr. Dizon focused on additive manufacturing technology. He was also instrumental in establishing the Philippines' first 3D printing research facility, BPSU's Additive Manufacturing Research Laboratory (AMReL), which later evolved into the DR3AM Center in 2020.

Dr. Dizon actively contributes to the advancement of additive manufacturing as the Head of the Technical Working Group on 3D Construction Printing for the DOST Advanced Manufacturing Center. His research collaborations extend globally and encompass applications for supercapacitors, pottery, desalination, and furniture. A member of the Philippine-American Academy of Science and Engineering (PAASE), he was also recognized among the world’s top 2% of scientists by Stanford University in 2023 and 2024.
