Under the leadership of its Director Dr. John Ryan C. Dizon, the BPSU Technology Entrepreneurship and Transfer Office (TETO), together with its units, is actively pursuing the establishment of a vibrant startup ecosystem for the technopreneurs of Bataan. This commitment was prominently showcased during the Researchers, Innovators, Scientists, and Extensionists (RISE) Recognition Day 2024, held at the Grand Ball, Lou-is Resort and Restaurant, January 31.
Spearheaded by the Office of the Vice President for Research, Extension, and Technology Transfer (OVPRETT), headed by Prof. Monica B. As he offered a toast, Director Dizon emphasized the inevitability of change, particularly in the fields of research and extension, as the university strives toward its aspirations of creating lasting impact in the communities we serve. In light of this, he encouraged the crowd to expect, embrace, and enjoy change. Notably, Dr. Dizon was also recognized as the Most Cited Faculty in 2024 with 4,463 citations, proving the significance of thought leadership in driving innovation and the effective transfer of technology.
