Introduce Propaganda Poster & Propaganda Poster Rubric.
You will make a WWI Era propaganda poster
Use 17x22 inch paper provided in class.
Everything on your poster must come from artifacts you have found in class.
Poster must be intelligent = Show that you applied knowledge and thought of propaganda objectives and tools
Use one of the objectives of propaganda..
Use a minimum of TWO "Tools of Propaganda" for a C. THREE for a B and FOUR or more for an A.

Posters must be hand drawn. You may trace - NO printouts.

WWI helmet is heavy, green, made of strong metal OR WWI soldier's boots are suede, lots of bumps on the bottom, brown leather lined - Not good if it rains? (Evidence: Cantigny War Trunk)
Describe a scene you saw from a WWI picture book (Evidence: Adams, Simon. Eyewitness Books: World War I. Dorling Kindersley, 2001. )
WWI flag with 48 stars (Evidence: Flag hanging in classroom on wall)
Looking at sheet music, you see a verse or title that caught your eye. Note the exact lyrics and mention that you plan to create a catchy slogan. (Evidence: sheet music)
