REHEARSAL SCHEDULE:

Inter/Senior Showcase - "Time Flies: 20 Together"

Sunday 23rd  NOVEMBER 2025:  Technical Rehearsal, 

ERINDALE THEATRE

 ~COMPULSORY FOR ALL PERFORMERS TO ATTEND~

KEY TIMES

11.45am - Group 1 Arrival Time

12:00pm – Group 1 on stage

1:00pm – Group 2 Arrival Time
2:00pm – Group 3 Arrival Time

3.30pm - Performers only in Squad Finale Arrival Time

(See Groups below)

• Dancers to arrive wearing:
  ▪ Showcase T-shirt
  ▪ Black or Bom Funk leggings / hot shorts / track pants
  ▪ Hair done & optional makeup completed
  ▪ Bring ALL dance shoes worn on stage – clearly named!
  
  

3:00pm – Dinner Break

• No students permitted to leave the venue at this time

• Please pack a simple, no-spill, nut-free snack and water only (e.g. dry biscuits, crackers, dried fruit, cheese stick, sandwich)

❌ No yoghurts, dips, popcorn, or nut products due to spillage/allergy risk

• • Alternatively, send canteen money or meet your dancer in the foyer at 3:00pm with food (to be eaten in the foyer only – no parents backstage)

3:30pm – Students Head Backstage

• Collect costumes & prepare for the performance

3:45pm – House Opens to Audience

• Warm-up continues in dressing rooms

4:00pm – SHOWTIME!  Inter/Senior Showcase – “Time Flies: 20 Together”

7:00pm – Show Finishes

• Dancers are returned to the foyer by their Dressing Room Leader

• Parents to sign out dancers in the foyer

• No parents are permitted backstage

PROCEDURE FOR SHOWCASE DAY

PRE-SHOW

• Arrive on time at your group’s designated arrival time

• Go to the Sign-In Desk in the foyer – dancers will be directed or escorted to their dressing room

• Parents may wait in the foyer or leave and return by showtime

• Dancers remain inside the venue once signed in – no early exits permitted unless signed out by a parent/guardian

FOOD REMINDER

• Provide a nut-free, no-spill snack and water only

❌ No yoghurts, dips, popcorn, or nuts

✅ Canteen money is optional
✅ Parents may meet dancers in the foyer at 3:00pm with food – but not backstage

DURING THE SHOW

• Dressing Room Leaders supervise dancers throughout the event

• Students will:
  ▪ Receive costume bag
  ▪ Get changed backstage
  ▪ Take professional photos
  ▪ Perform on stage

• Finale: All dancers return to the stage wearing their Showcase T-shirt for a special award and a moment in the spotlight
  
  

AFTER THE SHOW

• Dancers may leave wearing their Showcase Tshirt 

• All costume items are to remain at the theatre and will be collected on the day

• Students are brought to the foyer for collection and sign-out

• Parents are not permitted backstage
  
  

REMINDERS & REQUIREMENTS

✅ Arrive on time to ensure your dancer does not miss stage rehearsal

✅ Arrive in Showcase T-shirt, black or Bom Funk bottoms, hair & optional makeup done

✅ Bring all correct dance shoes for stage (must be theatre-approved)

✅ Label EVERYTHING – shoes, bags, clothes, etc.

✅ Students remain under Bom Funk teacher & volunteer supervision
▪ All backstage adults hold Working With Children Checks
▪ All Bom Funk staff are First Aid trained

✅ Students must remain inside the venue unless signed out by a parent or guardian
