In shadows I see light,
My eyes adjust to the dark spots
And I feel like I’ll be alright
As long as I can see
I’ll still be
Free
As free as a bird in the wind
As free as a dog with a large big grin
As free as a fox in the woods
As free as the word free
Free
Soft as a cloud
Making me tired
Slowly drifting off when closing my eyes.
Dark brown and pretty chilly
Bright white cushion
Nice and cuddly.
Long appearance
A rectangle of sorts
A ladder to the top bunk.
I jump and hop on you when I’m bored
You wiggle and shake
And then I’m never bored.
You make me warm and never let me get cold
I’m grateful for that
I love your hold.
Hungry as a lion all alone
Tired as an owl in the morning’s glow
Slow as a sloth
But fast like a cheetah
Bigger and better like the large equator
Still hungry as a lion
Tired and slowSun and moon,
Two different times
But two different places
If the earth is round then
The sun and the moon are not that far apart
Night and day are only a few minutes away
Sunshine
Dark
Hot
Cold
All are weathers that happen when it is the night
Or the day
They are all the opposite
Sun and moon
Not fast like a cheetah and smaller than an
Atom.
Sun and moon,
Two different times
Two different places
If the earth is round then
The sun and the moon are not that far apart
Night and day are only a few minutes away
Sunshine
Dark
Hot
Cold
All weather that happens when it is the night
Or the day
They are all the opposite
Sun and moon
Why can't I think of a poem?
If everyone can do it
Why can't I?
I'm smart enough to know how to think
If I can't do it
Nobody can
What came first,
The egg or the chicken?
The egg had to come first but who made the egg?
The chicken could have come first, they made the egg
Some secrets
We may never know
The answer to
But that’s one
of
life's many mysteries
