Construction
Construction is a
form of art. Just like all life.
Everything is art.
Houses
Work. Work to build homes.
Build rooms. Build beds. Build Houses.
Beautiful Houses.
Violence
Too much Violence.
Aggression is not always
Bad. It is all life.
Water
Drink Water. Healthy
Not all people have good health.
We are so lucky.
Haikus
This is a Haiku.
Haikus are poetic. Short.
Haikus are poems.
HOPE IN A PANDEMIC
Hope in a Pandemic.
Work in an unusual way.
In the Symphony, we gather. To restrain our dangerous pandemic,
We reach for the stars.
Trapped in an unseen way at home. Beyond the waterfall,
Beyond the cloud there is wonder.
With wings we whisper words of beauty,
Wishing the end of all danger.
Blind to the fact that danger is a part of us.
Happy,
sad, and mad are emotions.
SENSES REARRANGED
When I see a loud sound, I close my eyes
When I smell a fuzzy feeling, I open my nose
When I feel a sweet food, I keep it in my hand
When I hear a stinky smell, I close my ears
I GAZE AT BOATS
I gaze upon that boat
The boat that leaves the docks of Baltimore
Some people say that Baltimore is a beautiful city
But it is not
I want to go somewhere
Do something
I gaze upon the boats at the docks
I sigh
I wish I could go places
I wish I could go to mysterious places
England, France
My parents talk about them
I wonder what it is like there
I wonder if life is the same, or different
I wonder
I want to leave Baltimore
I need to leave Baltimore
Baltimore is a fine city
Any city you can get board of
I bet there is a child like me
A child in a city in England or France
Curious about a city across
The huge Ocean
A child curious about that city
Called Baltimore
My parents say maybe we
Can go on a boat
But not now
Now you have to do your chores
It is already the year 1851
I have not been on any of
Those boats
Gazed at boats
Longing for adventure
Longing for change
Longing for somewhere
Besides Baltimore
A DETECTIVE’S JOURNEY
The sleepy detective got out of bed
He got a phone call from his friend, Med
Med said “The old count is dead!
He was killed with a knife
There are three suspects
Also, on the table where he died,
There was an “X”!”
The detective went to the old house
He saw the three suspects and
Also a mouse
Then he found the dead body
He wondered if it was suspect three
But when he fingerprinted the body
It answered differently
It was the fingerprints of suspect two!
So he went to him and said
“I am arresting you!”
But suspect two pulled a gun
The detective said
“Being a detective is never fun”
And knocked the gun out of
Suspect two’s hand and said
“Turn yourself in and be a good man”
Suspect two confessed he belonged
To a Klan
The detective won, and
For President he ran
But he lost against a
Very bad man
