The incense burns up into space
It really does get in your face
The witch’s cavern is dark and dusty
The smoke from the fire is extremely musty
Dried out flowers hang from walls
But than the witch calls
Her crackly voice fills the room
As she hops on top of her witches broom
She looks at us with devil eyes
As we run to save our lives
We duck our heads as we race
But this is not a real life chase
I sit up in my bed
Sweat dripping down my head
A nightmare is to explain
The pain and terror in my brain
I tuck myself in and go to bed
As scary thoughts swirl in my head

My cat has soft fur like a stuffed animal
Even though shes not stuffed
My cat has strong bones like a rock
Even though rocks can break them
My cat has a scratchy tongue like wool
Even though she hated getting dressed in it
My cat has sharp claws like needles
Even though, when she goes to the vet, she doesn't like them
My cat has squishy paws like a stress ball
Even though she would eat one
My cat has a big heart like a human
Even though she isn't one.
