FACTS:

1)USPS delivers mail on Sunday for Amazon.

2) USPS delivers more things in 9 days then UPS does in a year.

3) The USPS transports more in 7 days then FedEx brings to its customers in a year

4) The US postal service Created High Speed letter sorting machines with electric eyes that read zip codes and handwritten addresses

5)Now Postal services around the world use the technology now ^

Question: do You think that a strong Postal Service is important today? Or not?

Answer:Yes. Because without having a postal service it will prevent necessary medications PPE equipment and things to keep people in better communication

Question: how do You feel about the USPS willing to close down in September because of our president?

Answer: It's terrible because people who live in isolated areas might not be able to get the things they need since the privilege of ordering from anywhere has now been taken away.

My Thoughts:

I feel like the postal service closing will really impact the U.S, because people would need medications and PPE equipment. And for people who live on mountains and places where private companies like FedEx and UPS can’t get to you, they would give the USPS the package and they would deliver it.

What can I do about it?: We live in a time where social media is what spreads the word for anything. So posting awareness on different social media platforms will spread awareness. Another way is to write up flyers and stick them everywhere in your neighborhood.
