Morning in Maine
Cloudy with dark skies
Heavy wind
And a light fog with a wet mist
Bedtime 2016

Closing my eyes slowly
I'm lightly yawning
And I hear his soft voice(go to bed)
New White Shoes
My new shoes white all over
Smooth soft laces
I walk on the dirt and look down
I no longer see white
I see dirt sand and a mix of grass
Together it looks blended
MY DOG
Running down the field
Panting heh heh heh
Pink tongue stuck out
Claws dig into the dirt
Grass flying left and right
Stops for a second and licks her paw
She finally slows down
Taking a huge breath
And walks up to the porch
Into the shade

SOCIAL JUSTICE POEM
Nobody should be treated wrong
because of their of their skin color
or worse killed
We’re all equal no matter how we look
You should not be scared to go out because of your race you should not be scared of the people that are supposed to protect you from all that,
It needs to change
