Pre-Screening Protocol (Please see Appendix A)

Included in the staff and parent/guardian communication a Covid 19 self assessment checklist (See Appendix B) will be distributed to all families prior to the start of the school year, as well as reminders will be sent home on a regular basis. Staff, students, parents/guardians and essential visitors will be expected to conduct the screening process prior to riding a school bus and/or entry to a school each day. Staff and students will be expected to stay home if symptoms are identified and the school will be notified through the school’s illness reporting protocol.

  • For students identified with possible COVID 19 symptoms during the day please see Appendix C.

  • For staff identified with possible COVID 19 symptoms please see Appendix D.

Upon entry and/or arrival at the school, staff and essential visitors will be required to complete an electronic self-assessment form ( Please see Link to digital Self-Assessment Form) and be required to use the hand sanitizing stations provided. In situations where physical distancing cannot be maintained proper PPE will be provided.

ADAPTIVE MODEL CONSIDERATIONS: A reminder to complete the screening will be sent to each cohort, through the school messenger system, at the start of their scheduled time at school. (eg. Week 1 - reminder sent home Monday and Thursday, Week 2 - reminder sent home Monday and Wednesday)

CONVENTIONAL MODEL CONSIDERATIONS: A reminder will be sent to families through the school messenger system at the beginning of each week.
