The SAT Test

SAT is a standardized, college entrance exam taken by students to determine readiness in English - reading and writing - and Mathematics.  Colleges and universities often use this assessment to determine admissions and scholarship decisions. You should confirm with your intended colleges and universities which test they prefer - the SAT or the ACT.

Benjamin Franklin High School does not administer the SAT. However, your Academic Advisors can help you find testing location and register for this exam. College-bound students are also highly encouraged to take the SAT more than once, if needed. There is no penalty for re-takes and only the highest score is evaluated.
