Graduation Requirements

These are the high school graduation course requirements. Our graduation requirements closely mirror the requirements for admission to Arizona state public colleges. Students must have 22 credits, broken down as shown below. 

• For Science: Students must take Biology and one of the two physical sciences, Chemistry or Physics. Earth Science counts towards graduation in addition to Biology and one physical science.

• For Language: Two consecutive years of the same language.

If students are interested in out-of-state or private colleges, they should consult with their academic advisor when planning their elective courses to ensure they have taken the courses required for admission to those programs.

In addition to these requirements, students are required to pass any state or federally mandated tests, such as the AZ Civics Test.
