It's Knowledge We Pursue!
Collegeiate Opportunities
Advanced Placement Courses are college-level classes taught at BFHS. Each AP Course has an end-of-course exam to assess high school students on coursework to earn college credit.
Dual Enrollment courses are courese taught at BFHS by BFHS teachers at the collegiate level. You can earn college credit for passing these courses through CGCC.
BFHS Associate's Program
Benjamin Franklin High School offers students the opportunity to earn an associate's degree while earning their high school diploma. While BFHS already offers 80+ college credits through Advanced Placement and Dual Enrollment course offerings, an associate’s degree completion during high school may provide a competitive advantage for some students during the college application process.
Technical Opportunities
BFHS has partnered with the East Valley Institute of Technology to offer students the opportunity to take vocational elective courses.
Credit Recovery
Students who have failed courses required for graduation will have those courses built in to their future schedules so they can retake these courses in-person. If a student's schedule is incapable of accomodating an in-person class to their schedule, students may be offered the chance to enroll in the BFHS Online Credit Recovery program through BYU to ensure the student can graduate in a timely manner.
Any credit obtained without going through the approval process will not be included on the student’s transcript. Please reach out to your Academic Advisor if you think you require Online Credit Recovery.
