Wellbeing Champions

What's a Wellbeing Champion?

The Wellbeing Champions are students with a particular interest in Mental Health, who want to be involved in the development of BGS's whole-school approach to mental health and wellbeing. Four students are recruited from Year 8 each year to join the Committee, which comprises students from Years 8-11. The students meet once per half-term to discuss issues relating to mental health and conduct an audit of students' perspectives once a year to evaluate progress and to determine the Champions' action plan for the forthcoming academic year.

Aims 2023-24

The Wellbeing Champions conducted an audit relating to student anxiety in July 2023. The results of this audit will form the basis of the Champions' work in 2023-2024.
