A free Office 365 Education subscription is available for students at the University with a student email account. Follow the steps below to register for the subscription.
Go to Microsoft's Office 365 Education page and enter in your @berkeleycarroll.org email address.
The next screen will ask if you are a student or teacher, click on the I'm a student option.
Enter in the information to create your account. Check your student email address for the signup code, and click Start.
You will see a screen asking for additional info. Click on Next.
Set up two of the three available secondary authentication methods and click on Finish (finish will be greyed out until the authentication methods have been verified
).
You will now be logged into your Microsoft account.
How long can I use this plan for?
You can use the plan until you graduate or are no longer enrolled at a qualified school. Student eligibility may be re-verified at any time. At expiration, the Office applications enter a reducedfunctionality mode, which means documents can be viewed but it isn’t possible to edit or create new documents. In addition, online services associated with the school email address, for example Office Online and OneDrive, will no longer work.
