As we saw it in the BOWIE, the writing process should take 45 min for each writing. That fits the 1:30 min you have for this paper. At the start of the exam, the invigilator will stand in the front of the classroom and show the starting and finishing time for the exam. Also they will display a big clock in the front for you to see it. So you have to do the math and distribute your time accordingly, for example:
Exam start - 10 am - Exam finish 11:30 am
Essay - 42⌚
Brainstorm - 5⌚ - 10:05 am
Outline - 1⌚ - 10:06 am
Writing - 30⌚ - 10:36 am
Intermission - 1⌚ - 10:37 am
Editing - 5⌚ - 10:42 am
Letter/Report/Review/Proposal - 42⌚
Brainstorm - 5⌚ - 10:50 am
Outline - 1⌚ - 10:51 am
Writing - 30⌚ - 10:20 am
Intermission - 1⌚ - 10:21 am
Editing - 5⌚ - 10:26 am
Also, the invigilator will let you know when there are 10 min and 5 mins left to finish the exam.
Here is a checklist that you can use to assess your writing. That can be done on the Editing stage of the BOWIE.
