Year Three

We have had another incredibly reflective and creative week in class! In Writing, we poured our hearts into descriptive character pieces inspired by our story, 'The Proudest Blue', while our Inquiry led us to explore the profound impact of art—how it helps us understand complex emotions, teaches us about different cultures and histories, and why it is so important to be respectful of all art forms. Our physical skills were put to the test in PE as we practiced the technique for long jump and worked in groups to master the coordination of unison and canon in our gymnastics routines. In Spanish, the children showed off their impressive memory skills during a shapes and numbers quiz, and we have been busy in Art and DT designing our upcoming masterpieces, combining the tactile nature of clay with the mechanical movement of levers.

It has been a week of deep thinking and exciting planning—well done to everyone for such a brilliant attitude!
