This week has been an incredibly busy and thought-provoking one as we delved deeper into our new inquiry by exploring the impact of water pollution through a fascinating celery and food colouring investigation; we have set our experiment up and are eagerly waiting until Monday to see how things have developed!
Linked to this theme, we have been busy planning and writing persuasive speeches about the critical issues of deforestation and farming, even taking part in drama activities to practice our "loud, serious speech voices" to deliver our messages with passion.
In our first hockey lesson of the term, the children showed great coordination and teamwork, while in Computing, we took a step forward in our digital literacy by learning how to send an email. We also held some very mature and important discussions in PSHE about how to resolve conflicts and what to do when things go wrong in friendships, and in RE, we continued our exploration of different religious celebrations and the traditions that make them special.
It has been a week full of discovery, powerful voices, and new skills - well done to everyone for such a fantastic effort!
