A Special Invitation
Our House Captains, and 2 very sensible friends, were invited the grand unveiling of the Invicta Court Christmas display, which was based around Christmas in the 1950s. The children were invited to take part in 1950s themed Christmas crafts and chat to the residents about their memories of Christmas from when they were younger. They made paperchains and decorations from newspaper and used glue made from flour and water to stick the Christmas trees that they had cut out onto their Christmas cards. It was a lovely morning, and we were again delighted by how beautifully our pupils interacted with the residents and their exemplary behaviour was again noted. The event was attended by the local press and should be appearing in the Kent Messenger before Christmas, as well as on Invicta Court's Facebook page/ online news channels.
