It's been a week of diverse activities, ranging from creative writing and scientific discovery to dance and local research. In Literacy, we revisited a fascinating story by rewriting the tale of Jemmy Button, focusing on enhancing our narrative skills. In Science, we became light investigators by conducting a hands-on experiment using torches to see if different materials reflect light, testing various surfaces and recording our findings. Taking inspiration from the Caribbean, we researched and then created our own dynamic dance routine set to the lively rhythms of Cuban music. We also focused on our community in Local Study/Geography by researching the different types of power (such as renewable energy, gas, and electricity) used in our area. Finally, in PSHE, we had an important discussion focusing on maintaining our health and well-being. It has been a wonderful week of learning, creating, and exploring!
