Dear Parents and Carers,

We are pleased to share some important staffing updates for Batemans Class and our wider academy team as we prepare for the new module beginning in January 2026.

We are delighted to announce that Leigh Academy Bearsted has appointed a new class teacher for Batemans Class from January 2026. Miss Ellie Ramsay will be joining our team and taking over the class as Mrs Dentten begins her maternity leave in Module 3.

To help ensure a smooth transition, Miss Ramsay will visit the academy on Monday 15th December to spend time with pupils and staff. This will give her a valuable opportunity to get to know the class and our academy environment.

At the end of this module, we will also be saying goodbye to Mrs Borgese, who will be leaving the academy. Mrs Borgese has recently been supporting our Nursery provision and previously worked within our Wrap Around Care team. We would like to thank her sincerely for her hard work and dedication during her time with us, and we wish her every success for the future.
