Come on, people! Capitalization should NOT be an issue by 7th Grade. Always capitalize:
The first word of a sentence.
The pandemic has changed the world.
The pronoun I.
One wish I have is that we can go to school soon.
Proper nouns like your name. You and everyone else are important. Letters must stand TALL when names are given.
Yesterday, was Lynda's birthday.
Title of a book or informational article.
We are reading The Outsiders.

Your brilliance needs to be shared with the world! Make sure that you write complete sentences. Once in a while a fragment is used as a stylistic choice, but 99.5% of the time the sentence must have a subject, verb and complete thought.

Subject = Who is doing the action.
Verb = Action
Complete thought = Additional information so the sentence makes sense.

A run-on sentence is when you run thoughts together. You are brilliant!! Let your readers know this by allowing them to rest with a period at the end of a thought.
Huge rule - if you think you should use the word and, use a period instead. Start a new sentence to start a new thought. Hemingwayapp can help you identify run-on sentences, but it will NOT tell you how to fix it.
