3+ paragraphs plus dialog that tells a story
Change the header image to match your topic.
Few to no capitalization or punctuation errors.
1. - New event = new paragraph
  - New person speaking = new line
At least 1 image, video, or map. Yes, you can include your own artwork.
A "More Information" section with links to related sources.

Here are a few ideas for the Narrative Page

Write a different ending for Mariel from "A Long Walk to Water." Salva thinks that Mariel was killed by a lion while they slept, but what if Mariel choose to leave with aliens or the Black Panther?
Retell an African story.
- Use facts from an Achieve article to write a fictional story
  - Describe a day in the life of a Yao person who works with a honeyguide bird to find beehives.
  - Write about the first day of school for a student in Senegal at a school were everything is taught in French.
- Make your story into a video using WeVideo.
- Design a comic book using Google Slides or PixtonEdu.

Open Google Site

Go to today's assignment.
Open the Google Drive link.
Find your website.
Double click to open.

Add a new page to Google Site - Narrative.mp4

2. Add a Page

Click on Pages.
Click on the + icon.
Type Narrative Story or the name of your story.
Click Done.

3. Insert Layouts

Choose the Layout option that works best for you. Remember, if you make a comic in Google Slides or PixtonEdu, you can download the graphics and insert them onto your page.

One Option

Click on Insert.
Select Layout -> One image and text box.
Insert Text box.
Insert Layout -> One image and text box.

4. Insert an Image or Video

Click on the + icon.
Select YouTube.
Search for a topic.
Double click on the video to insert.

5. Write Your Story

Retell a story, expand on another story, or use facts about Africa to create a fictional story.

Insert Hyperlinked Sources

Copy the link.
Type the title of the source and then select it.
Click on the 🔗 link icon.
Paste the link.
Click Apply.

Copy link, paste into private comments, and finish out the lesson.mp4

Paste Link in Private Comments and Mark as Done

Copy the Edit link. We are not done with the site, so we are not publishing it yet.
Paste the link in the Private comments.
Give a short summary of the story.
Click Mark as done.
