NOTE FOR TEACHERS: Use the modified Sites Duplicator code to create a folder with Google Sites for each student in your Google Classroom.
Find the Question in Google Classroom.
Click on View.
Double click on the folder.
Double click on the Google Site with your name.
In the top right, you will see Insert, Pages, and Themes.Â
Click on Pages.
Click on the + icon.
Type the topic of your blog OR today's date.
Mouse over the name of the page.
Click on the 3 dots.
Select Make homepage.
Move the mouse over the header (top area) of the website.
Select Change image.
Click Select image.
Click Search to find a web image. SUGGESTION: select a photo that is landscape (wide).
Look in the top right and you will see Insert, Pages, and Themes.
Click on Insert.
Look for Layout.
Select the layout with three images and text.
Type Introduction in the first Title.
Type Body in the second Title.
Type Conclusion in the third Title.
Why is the topic important to you?
Tell me everything you know about the topic. Add hyperlinks if you get information from another website.
Remind people why the topic is important.
Copy the link at the top of your Google Site.
Open the Google Classroom Question.
Scroll down to the Answer question box.
Paste the link.
Click Submit.
You can view your classmates' blogs after your submit your link. Make sure you leave a detailed compliment for them to let them know you read their blog.
