Click on image.
Select Arrange -> Order -> Send to back.
Sometimes the text is hard to read due to the image. We can fix this by adding a semi-transparent overlay.
Go to Insert -> Shape -> Rectangle ( or click on the shape icon).
Create a rectangle that covers the entire slide.
Use the Paint bucket icon to change the color to black.
Go back into Paint bucket and select Custom.
Move the Transparency bar from 100% to 75%.
Click Okay.
If necessary experiment with different levels of transparency. The next step is to place the semi-transparent overlay behind the text.
Click on the object.
Go to Arrange -> Order -> Backward.
Repeat if necessary.
The goal is to place the overlay behind the text box.
A semi-transparent black background + black font = really hard to read words. Fix this by changing the color of the text.
Click inside the text box.
Use CTRL + A to select all of the text.
Select the arrow next to A on the format bar.
Change the font color from black to a light color.
