Open a new tab in Chrome.
Type grammarly.com.
Click on Add to Chrome. It's free.
Select Add to Chrome.
Click on Add extension.
Look in the upper right corner. A green circle with the letter will appear. That is the Grammarly extension.
Click on Continue with Google.
Select your student Google account.
When the drop down menus appear, select school and beginner.
Click on Continue.
Select Continue to Grammarly. It's free.

We are using the free version of Grammarly. To find run-on errors, you should also use Hemingwayapp.com.
Select the text using CTRL + A.Â
Copy the text using CTRL + C.
Open a new tab and type Hemingwayapp.com.
Bookmark this app for future use.
I made a mistake and said "Grammarly" at the beginning of this video. Please forgive me. Watch the video to see how to use Hemingwayapp to focus on possible run-on sentences.
Hint: Always focus on red and yellow sentences.
I say, "Google Apps" instead of Google Slides because this applies to Google Docs as well.
Use CTRL + A to copy all the text in Hemingwayapp or Grammarly.
Use CTRL + C to copy the text.
Return to Google Slides or Docs.
Use CTRL + Shift + V to paste only the text and not the formatting, which includes font and color.
