You may already have bookmarks. Remove any bookmark that opens an old assignment, games (including CoolMath), and music sites. With two fingers, touch the Chromebook touchpad. When the menu appears, select DELETE.
Open these links and add them as bookmarks:

With two fingers, touch the name of the bookmark. A menu will appear.
Select Edit.
Rename or delete and use just the icon.
Heads up, if you rename a website that you are not supposed to use (music, games), I will delete them. I would rather you code (create) a game than play with one. As for music, we have a class playlist though I am working on a plan with the principal to use music as a reward. Please be patient and give me periodic reminders.

Start a timer
Search the internet
Click CTRL + and the key above the 6
Search for Snip
Should you practice spelling? Yes! Should you memorize how to spell words? Yes! But sometimes you need a little bit of assistance. Don't ask the teacher, ask Google!
Go to the lower right corner and click on the wifi symbol.
Click on keyboard.
Change International keyboard (the one you don't want) to US keyboard.
Click on the three dots in the upper right corner.
Select Settings.
Type idioma for language.
Change español to English.
If necessary, shutdown the computer and log back in.
Remove your user.
Add your user again.
Go to the bottom right corner.
Click on the wifi symbol.
Turn off the wifi and turn it back on.
If you continue to have issues, you must use the classroom desktop computers. Wasting time is not an option in this class.
To rotate your screen the keyboard shortcut is ctr+shift+refresh. Each tap of this shortcut rotates the screen orientation 90°. You must be logged into the Chromebook to make the change.
In the right hand corner of Chrome, click on the avatar.
A menu appears. Select Manage people.
Select Add person and choose a temporary avatar.
Click Turn on sync.
Type your username/password.
Click on Link data.
Select Yes, I'm in.
Your bookmarks and extensions will now appear. I recommend that you click on the Chrome icon on the taskbar and select Pin to taskbar.
