When I was twenty nine.
I never thought I'd ever find.
A woman to love and be my wife.
One tobe with the rest of my life.
Who would have thought by playing ball.
I'd end up hearing the marriage call.
My emotions rose higher than a crane.
Thanks to a introduction from ole Paul Blain.
Like a knight in armor on a Yamaha.
My first and only ride with you was a ball.
With your arms around me nice and tight.
Nervous and excited oh what a night!
Beer and Pizza were freely given.
At Village Inn I thought I was in heaven.
I coultn't wait to come in and see you smile.
Your warmth and love had no guile.
Saturday night dates in my yellow blazer.
Riding with me didn't seem to phase her.
Its always been easy to be with you.
I guess it's because our love is true.
Rasing a family through the years.
Through the fights and sickness and the tears.
To know your love is always there.
I beleive I have something that's quite rare.
You've given me leeway in many ways.
Golf and softball to pass the days.
Working long hours with not much rest.
I hope I've given you my best.
Your love for me has never wavered.
How could I have been so favored.
To have beatuy and brains in one partner.
It makes me look so much smarter.
I love whenever you come into sight.
I get the same great feeling as that first night.
I love you for you and nothing more.
I always will till they close the door.
The End
With all my love
