Hess was pregnant with her first son.
Chris thought oh no not another one.
She would often feel her Mom's tummy.
Boy she thought, that feels awfully funny..
Before you knew it she had her first one.
She couldn't believe it was a son.
With Curt she was as proud as can be.
Thought he would grow as tall as a tree.
Shortly thereafter she had Dan.
Who had no trouble getting tan.
He ate like a horse and was very funny.
She thought he's cute as a little bunny.
Again another it was number three.
She'll tickle his tummy and he'll say hee hee.
A name for him, she picked Doug.
Everyone thought, he's cute as a bug.
With these three guys she couldn't be sad.
A fourth one came could it be Chad?
Snuggly and cuddly, nice as pie.
It's my tail end Charlie she said with a sigh.
She gives her love freely each and every day.
Her advice and comfort help show the way.
The sun shines brighter when she's around.
With her great smile it's hard to be down.
For medicine she can't be beat.
She's the best doctor on the street.
She knows the answer when sicknesses come.
That's we we say, Thanks Mom.
Just knowing she's always there.
Ready to listen or just share.
With life's troubles and its woes.
Chris's love will always ease the blows.
The End
