Neonatal Placement Team: bb-foster-pleas@austinpetsalive.org
You'll hear from the neonatal placement team when:
● You reply to a foster plea or ask a qustion about kittens on a foster plea
● The placement team reaches out to you directly when we have kittens we think would be a good fit for you.
The neonatal placement team is a team of staff members and volunteers who jointly monitor the plea account and match fosters with kittens.
Neonatal Foster Mentors and Mentor Assistants: bbfostermentor@austinpetsalive.org
You'll hear from the neonatal foster mentors and/or assistants when:
● You take home fosters – you'll receive a welcome email with all the information you need
● Your kittens are due for medical (vaccine, wellness appointment, etc.)
● You email the mentors for advice
● Your kittens have lost weight
● We haven't heard from you in a while
The neonatal foster mentors are a group of volunteers, and this email goes to a shared inbox. You will be assigned a specific mentor for specific issues, but you will also hear from a number of volunteers who help with reminder emails and weight emails.
Neonatal Medical Care Team: bbrxtech@austinpetsalive.org
You'll hear from the neonatal medical care team when:
● You have submitted a neonatal medical request form
● APA!'s main clinic has forwarded an issue or prescription to the neonatal med team
● Your kittens are losing weight
● The neonatal med team needs to follow up on a known medical issue

● The foster manager team is helping the mentors or med team
● Special cases
