Some of the elementary prevention programs include an after school educational and activity based series that is available for 5-6 graders called "Mini-Bridge", Student Welcoming Committee services which are offered to students in adjusting to the school by giving them a tour of the building and providing them with relevant information. In addition, the Substance Awareness Coordinator works cooperatively with Guidance, and I&RS to provide student services which include the Study Buddies program which offers trained 6th graders to tutor younger students and focus groups that deal with a variety of issues such as peer relations, living skills and growing up drug-free.
