Bus

Students in the elementary schools may ride buses during their educational experience.

Safety rules for riding the bus are:

• • Obey and respect the bus driver and chaperones on the bus.

  • Stay seated, facing forward at all times on the bus. Seat belts must be worn when available.

  • Talk in a normal tone of voice when riding the bus.

  • Obey all rules of ROAR behavior on the bus.

  • Look in both directions when leaving the bus.

Bus safety drills are conducted once a year at minimum to review protocols in case of an emergency.
