Kemnay Primary SChool

Welcome to Kemnay Primary School

Dear friends and visitors,

I am thrilled to welcome you to Kemnay Primary School, a school nestled in the shadow of Bennachie, a truly special community famous for its granite quarry which has been used in the London Cenotaph, the Forth Railway Bridge, Marischal College and The Scottish Parliament.  The exact founding date of our school is unknown as a Parish School although is believed to be around 1803.

We are delighted that you are here exploring our website, where you will begin to discover who we are and how we bring the Scottish Curriculum for Excellence to life in a thoughtfully blended approach that celebrates each and every child and the people who support them. You’ll also get to know the countless ways in which, as childhood educators, we immerse ourselves in fostering a joyful community, keeping an equality and inclusive lens at the forefront of our work so that each person (child and adult) may experience a deep sense of belonging.

In addition to our approaches to teaching and learning, I invite you to take some time to delve into the many ways we support our parents on this precious journey.

As you continue to learn more about us on the various pages of our website, I invite you to reach out to us!

Kind Regards,

David Williams
