When Spring and Summer roll around, we hit the road for thrilling tournaments at different schools in the region. These events not only boost our confidence but also provide the perfect stage to showcase our netball wizardry in action!
Active Schools
Sportscotland collaborates with all 32 local authorities to invest in and support the Active Schools Network, which comprises over 400 dedicated managers and coordinators. These individuals are committed to fostering and facilitating the delivery of high-quality sporting opportunities for children and young people.
The Active Schools initiative strives to enhance and expand opportunities for participation in sports and physical activities. This includes offerings before school, during lunchtime, and after school. The goal is to create effective pathways connecting schools with sports clubs in the local community.
With a decade of experience, Active Schools has been a catalyst for providing children and young people with chances to engage and remain involved in sports. The program continues to play a vital role in contributing to the development of a world-class sporting system in Scotland.
