Games Review

Problem Description:

You are going to create a website for reviewing board game to solve the following problem:

The website is to have three pages - a home page and two review pages. Readers can go from the home page to any review page. On each review page, readers can navigate back to the home page.

You will be supplied with text and images to use on the home page, and on each of the review pages. Your task is to create 3 HTML pages using this. You will be given a wireframe to use for the home page, but you must design one of your own for the review pages.

Your website should look consistent. The same colour scheme and fonts should be used throughout.

Your teacher will provide you with the Games Review Worksheet via Google Classroom.

To achieve level 4 you need to:

• Create a structure diagram of the website

• Create a page layout wireframe

• Use HTML and BODY tags to define structure

• Use H, P and IMG tags correctly

• Use the A tag to create working hyperlinks

• Use the STYLE attribute to format the pages

• Identify and correct errors

• Create a website that matches the structure diagram design

• Create pages that match the page wireframes

• Evaluate your website in terms of its design

Show your understanding of National 5 elements by:

• Designing, implementing and evaluating a website as outlined in the level 4 success criteria

• Split pages into suitable sections using DIV, including appropriate ID attributes

• Using an internal stylesheet for formatting instead of the STYLE attribute

• Use ID selectors in the stylesheet in addition to tag selectors

• Use ONMOUSEOVER and ONMOUSEOUT events to create interactivity on a page

• Describe how a given set of HTML code would appear in a browser

• Identify types of link and types of addressing used in your website
