Graphics packages like Paint and Piskel work by making pictures out of lots of little dots called pixels.
You are going to learn about some of the limitations such graphics packages have by trying the following tasks:
Using the tools you have learned about in the lolcats exercise, you are going to try to draw an image of a house. Before you attempt the drawing, use the worksheet below to identify which tool to use for each part of the house:
Now try to draw the house using Paint (or Piskel if working outside of class):
Now modify your existing house picture so that the tree is moved to the side of the house and the car is moved behind the house. Your modified picture should look something like this:

Experiment with Serif DrawPlus - the tools are similar to those used in Paint. Try to repeat exercises 1 & 2 with Serif DrawPlus. Are they easier or harder to complete in DrawPlus?
