Course Information

In S1 all learners have one timetabled period of Music per week, plus one or more additional period as part of the S1 Creative Experience course.

In S2 all learners have one timetabled period of Music per week, plus the opportunity to specialise in Music as part of the Creative Arts Enrichment block. 

From S3 onwards, learners can select Music (and/or Music Technology) as part of their course choices. Learners do not need to receive tuition and can choose from a range of classroom instruments for developing performing skills. For those who wish to develop vocal skills, free singing lessons in a group setting are offered in extra-curricular Choir.
