All students have a school-assigned device. Students in kindergarten are assigned i-Pads. Students in first through fifth grades are assigned a Chromebook.
All students and guardians must sign the Acceptable Use Acknowledgement Form upon enrollment. Please review the policies below before signing.
Students are not permitted to bring electronic devices to school unless a special request is made by a teacher to do so. Students may have cell phones but they must be powered off and stored in their backpacks at all times. Students are not permitted to use cell phones during school hours. If a call home is necessary, students are required to use a school telephone. The school is not responsible for loss, theft or damage of electronic devices.
Clever is the portal where all student software is stored. Teachers log in using Google. Students log in with a QR badge, held up to the camera on a Chromebook or i-Pad. For student instructions, visit: Logging 1:1 Students onto a Chromebook and into Clever.

Google for Education: AAECS is a Google School, using the Google applications, such as Gmail (staff only), Google Drive, Docs and Sheets.
