Parents are invited to visit their child's classroom, to participate in evening events and to attend parent information sessions. Parent Advisory Council, or PAC meetings, are held to update parents on helpful, current or other relevant information related to their child's education. We also have a Parent-Teacher Organization, dedicated to supporting our school and organizing their own family activities. Visit our PAC and PTO website by clicking the button below!

Throughout the school year, there are multiple opportunities to visit your child's class to read a book!
Fall Book Fair This week-long event is dependent upon families like you! We need assistance organizing the displays, checking out purchases, managing student/family traffic through the library and clean up! See Mrs. Russell, AAECS Librarian for more information!
Is a member of your family currently enlisted in the military or a military veteran? We support our troops and are always eager to have families come to the classroom to share their experiences or to read a book to the class! Coming in uniform is not a requirement but definitely a plus!
This event has been difficult to put on due to the pandemic, but keep an eye out for our Career and College Fair, where parents like you can come share what you do for a living! All careers are valuable exposure for our students!
This off-site event includes all K-5 students and staff. The motto for Field Day is 'the more, the merrier' as we need help running student activity stations, snack stand, bathroom runs and more! Clearances are required to support this event!
This performance is nearly 100% student-driven! We do not spend money on sets, props, costumes or other items that we believe provide a valuable learning experience. However, there are just some things our students, nor our staff, can do! We may need assistance with larger, wooden set builds, complicated props or just with donations and supplies organization. Look out for more information on our Musical Parent Work Sessions!
Graduation is scheduled for the last day of school, June 6, 2024. It is a half day, so students are able to leave to get dressed up, hair done, etc! Holding this event outside allows us to host more guests, so bring the family along!
As an arts school, we try to host multiple showcases throughout the year for students to gain performance experience and demonstrate their progress! Family support to ensure students attend these performances is essential!
