LEADERS
The Armed Forces Chamber operates under a structured chain of command, ensuring effective governance, strategic direction, and operational efficiency.
At the highest level is the Commander (CEO), who provides overall leadership, establishes the organization's vision, and makes key strategic decisions. The Commander represents the Chamber in official capacities and ensures the organization's mission aligns with its long-term goals.
Supporting the Commander is the Vice Commander (President), who assists in executing strategic initiatives, assumes command responsibilities in the Commander’s absence, and plays a pivotal role in external relations, partnerships, and major operational decisions. The Vice Commander also supports executive leadership, oversees specific programs, and facilitates communication between leadership and members to ensure seamless operational continuity and foster organizational growth.
The Executive Officer (XO) (Vice President) oversees the Chamber’s operational functions, ensuring that all departments work cohesively while managing internal administration, coordination, and the execution of strategic initiatives. Reporting directly to senior leadership, the XO implements policies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness and plays an integral role in aligning the Chamber’s daily functions with its long-term objectives.
The Senior Officer provides leadership in specialized areas, supporting the executive team in implementing initiatives and maintaining operational integrity.
The Jr. Officer plays a developmental role in supporting senior leadership while gaining experience in Chamber operations.
At the foundational level, the Private undergoes structured mentorship and training to prepare for leadership responsibilities within the Chamber.

COMMUNITY COMMITTEE
The Community Committee actively represents the Armed Forces Chamber at various events throughout the year. Members attend events on behalf of the Chamber and manage the Chamber’s exhibitor table at key community gatherings such as Nellis Air Force Aviation Nation in March, andNevada Small Business Resource Fair in May, and Committed To Our Business in October. They also participate in commemorating Purple Heart Day on August 7th. This committee serves as the Chamber’s frontline in engaging with the local community and fostering partnerships.
EVENTS COMMITTEE
The Events Committee is responsible for planning, marketing, and managing a diverse array of Chamber-sponsored and co-sponsored events. Members coordinate logistics, oversee event execution, and engage with attendees, sponsors, and partners to ensure successful and impactful experiences. Signature events include the Armed Forces Chamber Ball in May, regular Business Mixers, and the annual Trunk or Treat at the North Las Vegas Training Center each October. The committee also organizes engaging Social Mixers featuring activities like bowling, miniature golf, video games, and dinners at venues such as Applebee’s, BJ’s, Chili’s, Lucille’s BBQ, Smash Burger, and The Cheesecake Factory. By fostering vibrant social and networking opportunities, Events Committee members uphold the Chamber’s mission of connection, development, and engagement.
HISTORIAN COMMITTEE
The Historian Committee serves a pivotal role in documenting the organization's journey as it fulfills its mission. Committed to preserving the rich history and impactful milestones of the Chamber, this dedicated group ensures that the stories, achievements, and contributions of members, events, and initiatives are meticulously recorded for posterity. The Historian Committee captures significant moments and maintains detailed records and archives. The Historian Committee collaborate closely with other Chamber committees, leadership, and external stakeholders to gather historical data, photographs, testimonials, and media coverage, ensuring a comprehensive narrative of the Chamber's impact on its community and beyond.
PARADES COMMITTEE
The Parades Committee plans and coordinates the Armed Forces Chamber’s participation in major parades throughout the region, proudly representing the Chamber and honoring the US military at high-visibility community celebrations. Annual appearances include the Las Vegas Martin Luther King, Jr. Parade (January), Las Vegas Spring Day Parade (February), Las Vegas Helldorado Days Parade (May), Tonopah Jim Butler Days Parade (May), Hawthorne Armed Forces Day Parade (May), Independence Day Parades (July), Pahrump Fall Festival Parade (September), Veterans Day Parades (November), and Christmas Parades (December). By organizing these appearances, the committee strengthens public awareness of the Chamber’s mission and showcases its commitment to patriotism, civic pride, and veteran recognition.
PERSONAL SECURITY DETAIL COMMITTEE
The Personal Security Detail Committee of the Armed Forces Chamber is dedicated to ensuring the safety and security of the Chamber's Commander during all official engagements and events. Composed of highly trained and skilled members, the Personal Security Detail Committee operates with precision and vigilance, offering professional escort and security services that adhere to the highest standards of protection. Their expertise encompasses threat assessment, crowd management, and emergency response, ensuring a secure environment for the Commander to focus on Chamber initiatives and engagements without concern for personal safety. The Personal Security Detail Committee exemplifies commitment and readiness, safeguarding the Commander with unwavering dedication and discretion.
POLITICAL ADVOCACY COMMITTEE
The Political Affairs Committee is responsible for gathering and sharing information about legislation that impacts businesses, the community, and Armed Forces members. Committee members monitor legislative developments and provide updates to ensure stakeholders remain informed about key policies and issues. When directed by the Commander, committee members may publicly speak in support of or opposition to a bill or candidate. Additionally, the committee may endorse candidates seeking office who align with the Chamber’s mission and values. Through their participation, Political Affairs Committee members uphold the organization’s commitment to advocacy, civic engagement, and policy awareness, ensuring that the interests of the business community and Armed Forces members are effectively represented.
PUBLIC MEETINGS COMMITTEE
The Public Meetings Committee is responsible for delivering prepared statements during the public forum portion of public meetings for items not listed on the agenda. Committee members serve as official representatives, ensuring that key messages are conveyed in a clear, professional, and consistent manner. Through their participation, Public Meetings Committee members uphold the organization’s commitment to advocacy, engagement, and representation in public forums
VETERANS TREATMENT COURT COMMITTEE
The Veterans Treatment Court Committee is responsible for supporting Veterans Treatment Courts by attending graduation ceremonies, presenting certificates of recognition, and providing gifts to graduates. Committee members represent the Chamber by honoring veterans who have successfully completed the program and fostering relationships with court officials, mentors, and community partners. Through their participation, Veterans Treatment Court Committee members uphold the organization’s commitment to veteran advocacy, community support, and engagement with programs that assist those who have served.
YOUTH COMMITTEE
The Youth Committee of the Armed Forces Chamber recognizes and supports the achievements of young cadets in high school. They present certificates of recognition in paper frames and letters from the Commander to cadets who are transitioning to another grade level or completing high school and enlisting in the military. This Committee plays a crucial role in encouraging and honoring the commitment of young individuals to their education and military service.
