HONORARY BOARD MEMBER
Angelica Villarta is a proud CHamoru and Filipina American, longtime Nevada resident, and public figure whose three-decade career spans entertainment, culture, and community leadership. From her beginnings as a lounge singer and performer to her work in casting, event production, and program directing, Angelica has built a life dedicated to bridging creativity, advocacy, and service.
She is the Founder of Kapwa and Co-Founder of the Immix Alliance, platforms that champion creative collaboration, small business development, and inclusive leadership. Angelica previously served as Vice Chair of the Nevada Commission on Minority Affairs, where she chaired the Economic Development subcommittee and worked to expand statewide opportunities for underserved communities.
Her current board roles include Advisor to the ACE Chamber of Commerce, Board Member and Logistics Chair for the World Affairs Council of Las Vegas, Communications Chair for the LVMPD Sheriff’s Multicultural Metropolitan Advisory Council (MMAC), and Honorary Member of the U.S. Filipino American Veterans Association.
Through these leadership positions—and her ongoing collaborations in the capacity of the federal government—Angelica champions ethno-divergent social and economic opportunities that expand access and visibility for underrepresented communities.
