The Armed Forces Chamber Food Distribution Program provides essential grocery assistance to armed forces members, including active duty, guard, reserve, and veterans. With over 9 million armed forces members in the U.S.A., the program ensures that those facing food insecurity—especially seniors and those in rural areas—have reliable access to nutritious food. Through strategic partnerships and community support, the program distributes grocery gift cards and delivers essential food supplies directly to those in need.
The Armed Forces Chamber Tech Distribution Program provides refurbished technology to veterans seeking employment, entrepreneurship, and training opportunities. Through this program, the Armed Forces Chamber coordinates the donation of gently used tech devices—including laptops, desktops, and tablets— to veterans actively working to improve their career prospects. The Armed Forces Chamber's Veteran Housing Program is dedicated to providing safe and stable housing for veterans and their families. The program's first phase involves constructing single-family homes in Pahrump, NV. This initial development serves as the foundation for expanding efforts, with plans to build additional homes in Pahrump and extend the initiative to other cities and states. The program enhances quality of life, strengthens communities, and honors the sacrifices of veterans through sustainable housing solutions.
MILITARY PARTNERS
Military partners work closely with the Armed Forces Chamber to deliver essential programs, resources, and services directly to Armed Forces members and their families. By providing targeted support where and when it’s needed most, the Chamber ensures these initiatives have maximum impact on the well-being and readiness of military personnel. This direct approach strengthens the resilience of service members and their families, contributing to a more robust and prepared military community.
Creech Air Force Base collaborates with the Armed Forces Chamber to enhance Military and Family Support Services. This partnership supports the Exceptional Family Member Program in assisting families with special needs by helping them identify and navigate a variety of programs and services. These services include but are not limited to information and referrals for military and community resources, educational outreach, connections to other military and family support providers, and information on local school and early intervention services. Creech AFB has approximately 3,500 personnel comprised of active-duty, Guard and Reserve Airmen as well as DOD civilians and contractors.
The Nevada National Guard (NV NG) collaborates with the Armed Forces Chamber to promote and sustain the quality of life and resilience of Army National Guard dependent children and youth. This partnership supports the Child & Youth Program by providing secure, timely, flexible, high-quality support services. These services include, but are not limited to, participation in programs, events, and activities geared toward the behavioral and physical health and welfare of children and youth. The NV NG has approximately 4,300 uniformed personnel, including over 3,000 soldiers and 1,200 airmen. The Nevada National Guard is supported by 940 personnel.
Voice of the Veteran collaborates with the Armed Forces Chamber to deliver essential resources and services directly to Armed Forces members and their families. This collaboration plays a vital role in supporting Voice of the Veteran’s "Day of Gratitude" at Allegiant Stadium, home of the Las Vegas Raiders. Recognized as the largest veteran and military giveaway in Nevada’s history, this grand celebration welcomed over 17,000 veterans, military members, and their families. The event featured $4 million worth of gifts from major brands, including Amazon, Nike, Disney, and more, reinforcing a shared commitment to honoring and supporting those who serve.
EXTENDING SUPPORT
The Armed Forces Chamber partners with various community organizations to enhance, strengthen, and support its programs for Armed Forces members and their families. These collaborations enable expanded resources and services, ensuring a greater impact in addressing the needs of veterans and their loved ones across community and economic development, diversity and inclusion, education, environmental sustainability, health and human services, hunger relief and healthy eating, public safety, plus veteran and military support.
The Veterans Treatment Court employs a collaborative approach to support veterans dealing with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) or traumatic brain injuries (TBI) who face misdemeanor charges. Its mission is to promote public safety and provide targeted services to veterans, offering a structured, court-supervised program that integrates substance abuse and mental health treatment while addressing the veteran's holistic needs. This model aims to restore veterans as productive, law-abiding members of the community, ultimately reducing recidivism and associated costs.
To enhance these vital programs, the Armed Forces Chamber provides in-kind donations, including certificates of appreciation and gifts for graduates, and arranges special guest speakers and live performances for graduation ceremonies. Additionally, the organization supplies certified mentors who guide participants throughout the program.
