2026 ELECTIONS IN NEVADA

Armed Forces Chamber Rolls Out New Progressive Endorsement Model for 2026 Nevada Elections

Las Vegas, Nevada – The Armed Forces Chamber Commander Andre’ Haynes proudly announced a new progressive endorsement model for the 2026 Nevada Elections. The Primary Election will be held on Tuesday, 9 June 2026 and the General Election will be held on Tuesday, 3 November 2026.

This effort will support candidates who demonstrate outstanding leadership, integrity, and service to the community and veterans. Endorsements from the Armed Forces Chamber will be issued by the Armed Forces Chamber Political Affairs Council, LLC. The Armed Forces Chamber reserves the right to issue no endorsement or abstain from select races.

The Armed Forces Chamber proudly offers registered candidates seeking public office—whether by appointment, election, or re-election—the opportunity to apply for an official endorsement. To be considered, applicants must submit a non-refundable $50 application fee to the Armed Forces Chamber. Please note that payment of the fee does not guarantee or imply endorsement. In addition to the fee, candidates are required to complete and submit a comprehensive questionnaire by the specified deadline.

The questionnaire consists of 52 questions across seven key categories: Military, Residency, Education, Family, Business, Community, Advocacy, and Campaign. These categories reflect the Armed Forces Chamber’s core values and are designed to assess a candidate’s experience, character, and preparedness for public service. While individual answers remain confidential, total scores will be made public on the official Armed Forces Chamber website.

Candidates can earn up to 72 points, with certain responses awarding points and others resulting in deductions. The grading scale is as follows: 72-62 points = A, 61-51 points = B, 50-40 points = C, 39-29 points = D, and 28-0 points = F. The candidate with the highest total score—along with the approval of the Board of Governors, including the Armed Forces Chamber Commander, Vice Commander, and Executive Officer—will receive the Chamber’s official endorsement.

The Armed Forces Chamber reserves the right to abstain from endorsing any candidate in a particular race and to rescind an endorsement if it is determined that the candidate has been dishonest, omitted information, or acted deceitfully, or if the candidate becomes ineligible, withdraws from the race, or violates the endorsed candidate code of conduct. In such cases, the candidate pledges to return their endorsement plaque and reimburse the organizations for its cost.

Judicial candidates must complete the questionnaire by Friday, 30 January 2026, with scores announced on Friday, 6 February 2026 by 1700 Hrs. (5:00 p.m.). Non-judicial candidates must submit theirs by Friday, 27 March 2026, with scores announced on Friday, 3 April 2026 by 1700 Hrs. (5:00 p.m.).

The Armed Forces Chamber provides exceptional in-kind support to endorsed candidates through a comprehensive advertising and promotional strategy designed to boost visibility and public engagement. Endorsed candidates are prominently featured and interviewed on the "Armed Forces Chamber Podcast", in the e-newsletter, official website, and social media platforms. They are also granted the right to display the official Armed Forces Chamber endorsement logo on their campaign materials, enhancing credibility and voter trust. Additionally, endorsements are promoted in individual press releases, both print and digital publications, ensuring a wide-reaching and multi-channel presence. This strategic approach not only amplifies the candidate's campaign efforts but also underscores their dedication to serving veterans, military personnel, and the broader business community. Through this robust support network, endorsed candidates gain meaningful exposure and recognition that can significantly impact their path to public office
