Dr. Bradford S. Carlton, J.D. is a business strategist, attorney, and advisor with deep experience in governance, legal analysis, and organizational growth across both private and public-facing institutions. He brings a multidisciplinary background spanning law, business administration, strategic planning, and operational oversight.
Dr. Carlton began his career in the legal field, serving in roles including Staff Attorney and Co-Court Administrator at the Stark County Probate Court and as a judicial extern for the United States Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals. His legal career also included private practice as a Partner Attorney, where he advised clients on estate planning, probate matters, and long-term financial and healthcare planning.
In addition to his legal work, Dr. Carlton has spent over a decade advising businesses and organizations on strategy, administration, and growth. He has held executive leadership roles, including President of a business consulting firm serving large and mid-sized companies, where he was responsible for budgeting, financial analysis, strategic planning, and compliance oversight. His work has supported organizations at every stage—from early formation through multi-million-dollar growth—while maintaining a strong emphasis on governance, ethics, and sustainable operations.
Dr. Carlton is a graduate of The University of Akron School of Law, where he earned his Juris Doctor Magna Cum Laude, ranking in the top ten percent of his class, serving on Law Review, and in a leadership role within the Student Bar Association. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
He is also a published author and co-author, with works addressing business strategy and elder law.
Dr. Carlton is happily married and is the proud father of a daughter.
