Fluency Brochures

These brochures highlight some of the methods for developing computational fluency. They have been adapted from HCCC. Please look closely at the printing instructions in the slide notes.

Computational fluency is the ability to use strategies to figure out mathematics facts quickly and efficiently. A scholar who has computational fluency would be able to use strategies together with the facts he or she knows to figure out a more challenging problem.
