Q: Â Â Why did the timesheets for LETRS keep changing?
A: Â Â APS used both operational and grant monies to fund teacher compensation for LETRS. Different funding sources required different timesheets. For the 24-25 school year, we will only be using the Weekly Timesheet, unless we are able to secure additional grant funding. Always check this site for the most up-to-date information or email letrs@aps.edu. Weekly Timesheets will continue to be used in 25-26 as well.
Q: Â Â Why are there deadlines for turning in our timesheets? What if I'm not finished with the unit?Â
A: Â Â Deadlines for timesheets help us ensure we are compensating teachers for current LETRS work with the current year's funding. When timesheets are submitted from prior school/fiscal years, the accounting and funding for that is no longer available. Deadlines also encourage participants to stay on pace as well!
Q: Â Â I submitted a timesheet for online work done in a unit, and the time requested was less than 13.5 hours. Later, I went back and added more time to my online work for that same unit. May I submit a timesheet for that extra time in that unit?
A: Â Â No. You may only submit a timesheet for a LETRS component once. This includes live sessions, online work, reading/bridge-to-practice, and the Structured Literacy course. Once you have been compensated for that component of your LETRS work, you may not add additional hours to that component.
Please note that compensation should now be sent to 530W (fifth floor, west tower), 6400 Uptown Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87110.
