If you need to print anything this semester, please feel free to utilize this resource.
Our computer is in the hallways where Claire and Beth's offices are in D.D. Dougherty.
You will log into the computer and follow the directions on the sheet of paper taped to the table. Make sure to read them carefully.
After you print your items, you will head over to 208 in D.D. Dougherty (the tutoring lab). The printer is right below the front desk when you walk in.
You will swipe your app card and pick up your printed items.
The building will be open from 8-5 on Monday-Friday. It sometimes will be open later as long as tutoring sessions are happening, but if you want to guarantee access to the printer, I recommend planning to come between 8-5. If you need to print more than 15 pages, contact your advisor!
Every student is placed in a financial aid budget! Your financial aid is created using the following items:
Federal Pell Grant support
Need-based grants (UNC, Appalachian College Opportunity Grant, etc.)
University Scholarships and outside scholarships
ACCESS funds
Your Pell grant and other need based grants are applied first. ACCESS then goes in to cover the cap to make sure that your tuition and fees, room and board, health insurance (if needed), and books (if room) are covered. Sometimes students have so much money from other scholarships that they hit their budget and we are not able to cover their textbooks. If this happens, we will communicate with you, but you will be getting a refund check to use to cover that balance.
Funds do not all arrive at the same time, so please be patient as updates to your account will happen occasionally through the fall semester.
You are responsible for any balance that is not tuition and fees, room and board, health insurance, or textbooks.
Financial Aid will be dispersed to pay for Fall bills in Early/Mid August and Spring bills in Early/Mid January.
If you have any questions about your account, please reach out to your advisor!
