DESCRIPTION
Color guard is a ceremonial team that includes the US Flag as the commander, the Texas Flag, the US Guard, and the Texas Guard. We actively participate in compeitions and proudly serve our community by paying tribute to our nation's flags at various events such as AHMO squads, wrestling matches, and more. Within the color guard, there are two main teams: Male Color Guard and Female Color Guard. In the past, we have also had Mixed Color Guard and Novice Color Guard for certain competitions. However, this year we only have Male and Female Color Guard. The Male Color Guard is an exclusively male team, while the Female Color Guard is comprised solely of female members. The Mixed Color Guard consists of both males and females, with at least one male and one female member. Lastly, Novice Color Guard is specifically formed by first-year cadets. All Color Guard teams comprise of two rifles, two flags, and two alternates. Among its cadets, the Color Guard fosters close interaction and camaraderie, making us a tightly-knit group. It is a fantastic team for individuals who are eager to learn, grow, and put in hard work necessary for success.
