A character trait that guides every generation of our cadets to understand the importance of maintaining strong moral principles, honesty, and accountability within our corps
Our cadets dedicate themselves to our unit, community, and nation. It goes beyond individual goals, requiring certain sacrifices, selflessness, and dedication, as their commitment plays a crucial role in the success and effectiveness of our program
As our cadets strive for the best in academics, fitness, leadership, and all other aspects of the program, it builds a mindset aimed at achieving greater accomplishments and creating meaningful impacts in our community and nation
The field trip to the Dallas Holocaust and Human Rights Museum deepened the cadets understanding of the historical tragedy that occurred from January 30, 1933, to May 8, 1945. The cadets not only engaged in the museum tour but also thoroughly enjoyed learning about the past through the exhibits and personal stories shared by survivors during various activities. In the end, the cadets gathered to watch a movie in the Cinemax, which left a long-lasting impression on us and strengthened our commitment to remember and learn from history, and to strive to become mature young adults dedicated to doing the right thing.
It's a well-known pirate tradition here that when the band starts playing, our AHMO flags proudly wave on the Montgomery court or on the field to showcase our school spirit. AHMO squad is one of the most enjoyable events for our cadets during the football season as they get to cheer on the players and the school.
In the cadets' recent event, cadets supported our program on a cold Sunday to ensure that everyone had an amazing holiday. They spread joy, served free hot chocolate to guests, provided complimentary gift wrapping, and contributed significantly to the community. The recognition gained highlights their outstanding work and commitment to making a positive impact. From seeing the smiles on kids' faces to the satisfaction of parents and friends, this is an event no one wants to miss.
We look forward to seeing you again next year!
On the morning of 9/11, our reveille brought the cadets and guests together to pay deep respect and remember the sacrifices made by heroes who selflessly responded to save lives in the tragedy of 9/11. As cadets, we stand united with discipline and dedication to show our appreciation for the first responders. This day will be forever honored to honor the legacy of the veterans who exemplified service greater than themselves 22 years ago, on September 11, 2001.
Our JROTC canned food drive stands as the top-performing organization, surpassing the initial goal of 1776 canned goods by raising an impressive total of 2023 canned goods. Our cadets not only went above and beyond by collecting and delivering the cans but also secured a victory in our school's canned food drive competition. In recognition of this achievement, our cadets enjoyed a well-earned pizza party supplied by the school for outstanding work. This success not only demonstrates our commitment to service but also highlights the positive impact that together, we can achieve greatness.
A once in a lifetime experience, this annual event is one of the best experiences for our cadets as everyone comes together under the lights of the beautiful Wylie High School building cafeteria to to enjoy a delicious dinner, watch the Sarge/Colonel show, win prizes, and dance shoulder to shoulder.
